1. Acceptance

By using BitSeek you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use BitSeek. These terms apply to the public BitSeek service at bitseek.com. If you're running a self-hosted BitSeek, the operator of that instance sets their own terms.

2. Service

BitSeek is a privacy-preserving meta-search engine. We aggregate results from public sources (via our private SearXNG node cluster) and rank them with our own scoring. We do not host the destination content and have no control over it. We do not log IP addresses — see our Privacy Policy for details on what data we do and do not collect.

3. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the API. The public API is rate-limited per anonymous request token (a salted hash, never your raw IP); programmatic and high-volume use requires an API key with credits.
Don't run automated scrapers, credential-stuffing, or DDOS-style traffic against the service.
Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits by rotating IPs, user agents, or accounts.
Don't use BitSeek to commit crimes or to harm others.
Don't try to compromise the security of the service or its users.

4. Accounts

You may create an account to access premium features. You are responsible for your credentials. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

5. Premium, credits, and ads

BitSeek operates on a credit-based model. Each search costs a fixed number of credits; credits are purchased via BTCPay Server in Bitcoin.
An optional ads-free membership ($5/month equivalent) can be billed monthly via BTCPay.
Credits and subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law or for clear technical failure on our end.
We may discontinue premium features with reasonable notice; remaining credits or unused subscription time will be honored or refunded at our discretion.
Advertisers must follow the ad content policy: no malware, no fraud, no illegal goods, no impersonation, no political ads, no adult content. We may reject or remove any ad at any time without explanation.

6. Disclaimer

BitSeek is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that search results are accurate, complete, safe, or up to date. You use BitSeek and any linked content at your own risk.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BitSeek is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (which may be zero).

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email to account holders or a banner on the site.
